Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Auburn Opelika

Wonderful clean hotel. Staff was excellent. We stayed on one of the busiest weekends in Auburn for gameday. The prices during gameday are outrageous, but there is a lack of hotel rooms and all the hotels are expensive. We had a great stay and were happy with the accommodations.

I stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip. I was originally given a room on the highway side the first night, and it was very loud with a defective a/c unit. I got an awful night's sleep. The next day, desperate, I requested to be moved to the other side, and the wonderful woman at reception got me a new room even though the place was fully booked. I wear an Oura ring and my sleep score went from 61/100 the first night to 92/100 the second night. Comfy bed + working a/c + quiet = a restorative night's sleep. In addition, the woman managing the breakfast does a great job keeping everything well stocked, the coffee hot, and the entire area very clean. I would recommend this location as an affordable accommodation if you can snag a room on the opposite side from the highway.

Marissa P was an absolute gem. Very nice. On point and kind. We came in and was waiting for our transport to Atlanta. She provided us with chargers for our phones and made sure that we was taken care of. She definitely deserves a raise and the next time I come to the city I will be staying at this location. Excellent worker. Takes hospitality to a whole new level.

Stay for a couple of nights during summer. Overall it’s a great experience. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. The cleaning services are great as well. But sometimes there were awful smells in the corridors. Given the prices of the hotel, the amenity provided is not bad, though there’s still room for improvement. The breakfast is mediocre but could fill your stomach. The location is excellent, walkable to nearby restaurants.

Overall it’s a nice quite comfortable hotel. Staff is nice but the breakfast is horrible. For the price they need better breakfast and a swimming pool. We on vacation and can go swimming in 90 degree weather.

I had a wonderful stay here. I was very impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The facility was very clean as well. I had no issues with any of the doors, key cards, parking, etc. breakfast was delicious and served promptly. There are plenty of healthy and savory options as well with plenty of space to enjoy your breakfast. Everything here was worth the price and worked as expected.

A few downsides like being next to I-85, small town, shopping center close by where kids like to play loud music and the police have to be called. Positive sides: gets quiet around 2200 (no glasspacs or stereos booming), minimal traffic noise, friendly receptionist, and clean hotel. There are a few minor issues: AC unit was loudand the elevator makes some interesting noises ascending and descending.

Staff was nice, rooms were clean, location is across the street from shopping of all kinds and right off I85. Would stay here again.
